Schilt Engineering B.V. processes your personal data as a result of your use of our services and/or because you provide these to us yourself. Below is a summary of the personal data we process:

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. We cannot check whether a visitor is above the age of 16, however. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data on children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data on a minor without this consent, please contact us via sales@schiltbv.nl and we will delete this information.
The purposes for which we process personal data and the legal basis for the processing
Schilt Engineering B.V. processes your personal data for the following purposes:

Schilt Engineering B.V. does not use automated processing to decide on matters that could have (significant) consequences for people. This concerns decisions taken by computer programs or systems without the involvement of a human (for instance an employee of Schilt Engineering B.V.).

Schilt Engineering B.V. saves your personal data for no longer than is strictly necessary to realise the purposes for which your data are collected. We observe the retention periods prescribed for us by legislation and regulations.

Schilt Engineering B.V. does not sell your data and only furnishes data to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to satisfy a statutory requirement.

Inspect, amend or delete data
You have the right to inspect, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you may have given for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Schilt Engineering B.V. and you have the right to data portability. Data portability means that you can submit a request to us to send a computer file containing the personal data we have on you to you or another organisation you specify. You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to sales@schiltbv.nl. To be certain that it is in fact you that has submitted the request to inspect data, we ask that you send a copy of your proof of identification along with the request. In this copy, please block out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than within four weeks. How we secure personal data
Schilt Engineering B.V. takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised amendment.
