Automated large rebar shop

In May 2024, one of the largest automated cutting and bending plants in East Germany was completed by Schilt Engineering.

This project includes:

• Two large automatic shearlines MULTIBAR500 with ABL (automatic rebar loading);
• Compact shear line Flexbar 150AE for cutting residual material;
• EVG straightening machine, working from coil;
• Various outlets for finished products;
• Automatic double benders, DBS3-60N

All linked to a large fully automatic Consolidator, unique rebar warehousing system with pick & place system for rebar bundles.

On the outlet side, operators can call bundles to the trucks for loading or bending if needed.
